The Flutes, Strings and Timpani at Christmas

The Skye and Lochalsh Orchestra ‘Cake, Carols and Candlelight’ was a success on Saturday evening. Despite some horrendous roads for some – especially those coming from the north of the island!
There was a joyous atmosphere – the lights were dimmed, the candles just about lighting the mulled fruit juices and the many cakes. Really felt Christmassy!
Anthony Cleverton’s ‘The People that walked in Darkness’ was exceptional and Peigi Ferguson’s ‘Once in Royal David City’ set the bar very high!
Thank you to all for making this such a memorable event.
And of course, thank you for your donations which will be going to the local food bank.
